Join bestselling local author Tim Gager to celebrate the release of his 19th (!) book, along with readings and commentary from other local talents.

Timothy Gager has published 19 books of fiction and poetry, which includes his third novel, Joe the Salamander, and his most recent book of poetry, Almost Bluing for X-Tra Whiteness. He hosted the successful Dire Literary Series in Cambridge, MA from 2001 to 2018, and started a weekly virtual series in 2020. He has had over 1000 works of fiction and poetry published, 17 nominated for the Pushcart Prize. His work also has been nominated for a Massachusetts Book Award, The Best of the Web, The Best Small Fictions Anthology and has been read on National Public Radio.

Melissa Cundieff is the author of Darling Nova, selected by Alberto Ríos for the 2017 Autumn House Press Poetry Prize. She teaches at Harvard University and is currently writing a book of poems about, among other things, her father’s death in 2020 from Alzheimer’s disease. Her poems, nonfiction, fiction, and drawings have appeared in places such as Best of the Net, Los Angeles Review, Southern Humanities Review, Ninth Letter, and The Adroit Journal

Krysten Hill is the author of How Her Spirit Got Out (Aforementioned Productions, 2016), which received the 2017 Jean Pedrick Chapbook Prize. Her work has been featured in The Academy of American Poets, apt, B O D Y, Boiler Magazine, Up the Staircase Quarterly, Muzzle, PANK,Tinderbox Poetry Journal, Winter Tangerine Review and elsewhere. The recipient of the 2016 St. Botolph Club Foundation Emerging Artist Award and 2020 Mass Cultural Council Poetry Fellowship, she received her MFA in poetry from University of Massachusetts Boston, where she currently teaches.

Gloria Mindock is editor of Cervena Barva Press. She is the author of  the multiple award winning "Grief Touched the Sky at Night" (Glass Lyre Press, 2023), and "Ash," (Glass Lyre Press, 2021). She has been honored by The New England Poetry Club, the 2024 The Sam Cornish Award, for her work with the community and Cervena Barva Press, which has a strong outreach

She also has authored, "I wish Francisco Franco Would Love Me" (Nixes Mate Books), "Whiteness of Bone" (Glass Lyre Press), "At the Heavens Gate" (Ars Longa Press, Romania) translated into the Romanian by Flavia Cosma, "Nothing Divine Here," (U Soku Stampa), and "Blood Soaked Dresses" (Ibbetson).
